UNEP appreciates RINL

Visakhapatnam: UN Environment Program (UNEP) has appreciated RINL for carrying out various activities like bicycle rallies, poster and essay writing competitions to create an awareness during World Environment Day (WED) celebrations.

The Environment Management Department of RINL, the corporate entity of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant visited UNEP official campaign website and registered for WED2024 and showcased various initiatives implemented by RINL towards protection of the environment. After submission of various details, UNEP has listed RINL on the global map meant for international gathering to continue the battle against land degradation and drought.
